Gabby’s Senior Session, Evansville Indiana Senior Photographer

I hope you like horses!! You’re getting ready to see a lot of photos of Gabby with her horses, and her cow and her dog–oh, and her pig! Gabby is a senior at Castle High School–go Class of 2018!–and I spent a super fun afternoon on her family farm, photographing her senior portraits. She’s a farm girl through and through, with her numerous 4H ribbons and trophies, plus, she looks pretty badass holding a rifle. Enjoy this gallery of my favorites. Brittany and Erick’s Bauerhaus Wedding, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Yay! I got to shoot another wedding and reception at the beautiful Bauerhaus in Darmstadt, IN. Brittany and Erick are an amazing couple together, so loving, playful and fun! They chose to have a First Look in a private area on the grounds. It was a wonderful moment and–I’m not going to lie!–I got a little teary eyed behind the camera. It’s always such a moving moment and this day was no exception. Brittany was in tears upon seeing her groom to be. After a sun drenched outdoor ceremony, they were received by their guests into the reception. Following the delicious buffet dinner, they treated their guests to an ice cream sundae bar. Then, the dancing and reception fun, which included sunglasses for everyone! Before I left for the night, I stole them for a short photo session outside to round out this gorgeous day. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lamey!

Sabrina and Nathaniel Marry at The Bauerhaus, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Sabrina and Nathaniel chose The Bauerhaus in Evansville, IN to have their wedding ceremony and reception. After a heartfelt ceremony with songs and readings of faith, we stole outdoors to take photos on the tree shaded grounds. These two were full of love, romance and lots of laughter–I just had to point my camera and shoot, what a dream! After being announced into their reception, they and their guests enjoyed a seated dinner, speeches, Bauerhaus’ amazing cake as well as dance floor fun. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Grudzinski!

Victoria and Nick’s Wedding, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Nick and Victoria were married on May 20 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Evansville, IN. It was an extra special location for the couple because Victoria is actually the pianist for the church! After a full mass ceremony, we stopped by the University of Evansville, where they first met. The campus was a great place for some casual photos with the wedding party as well as a few romantic ones with the newly marrieds. Westhaven Chalet was the destination for the reception, where Nick and Victoria were received by a room full of happy guests. After the meal, toasts, ice cream sundae bar and Boy Scout sing alongs (Nick is an Eagle Scout), was the sparkler sendoff. No one caught on fire, which is good! LOL. It was a beautiful celebration and I was honored to be part of it. Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Raupp!

Michelle and David’s New Harmony Engagement Session, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

It was a lovely Spring day in New Harmony, Indiana. The light and the weather were perfect for Michelle and David’s engagement session. We had a great time strolling around the town, finding great backdrops for the pictures. I warned them that there would be a lot of cuddling and snuggling for photos, but they didn’t seem to mind! They will be married in July in Illinois.

Shannon and Harry’s Favorite Wedding Image

“This photo perfectly captures the emotion of our wedding day.  The dramatic clouds in the background symbolize the life we left behind as we stand in a loving embrace in the sunshine to celebrate the beginning of our new shared lives.  The cherry red 1968 Mustang is waiting patiently to whisk us away as our friends and families wish us love and luck.  Jeannie could not have captured a better balance of nature and emotion!”–Shannon and Harry

Tiffany and Luke’s Favorite Wedding Image

“I couldn’t have been happier in this moment. The weather was amazing, the chaos of our wedding was over, and I was with the love of my life! Right after this picture was taken, we left the wedding reception to go start our lives together…and life’s been amazing ever since! Such a great memory!”–Tiffany and Luke

Jill and Aaron’s Favorite Wedding Image

“This photo captures the beauty and craziness of our little family. We knew taking wedding photos with our dogs would be a challenge, but this image made it all worth it!”–Jill and Aaron

Frank and Brent’s Favorite Wedding Image

“We love so many of our wedding photos… that it is difficult to chose one. It would be easier if we were asked to pick 100 favorites. The one with our nieces and nephews is very special. We are so glad that we were able to celebrate with them. They were so well behaved during the wedding and so much fun at the reception. They filled the day with so many fond memories. “–Brent and Frank

Brittney and Nic’s Favorite Wedding Image

“Unity in marriage is one soul, one heart, and one being. We are no longer single souls. As we walked this path together hand-in-hand, it represented how we will never be alone. It was the start of our journey together. Perhaps we will never be as nicely dressed, but we are together. Forever.”–Brittany and Nic

Wedding Vignette: Amanda and Fred’s Favorite Wedding Image

“This picture represents both a sigh of relief and a moment of overwhelming joy. We had pulled it off and were officially married. Vows had been said, cake had been cut, parents had been danced with, and now it was time for us. We had been quietly pulled away from the reception and allowed to finally enjoy each other in our fancy clothes and beautiful venue with no audience other than a couple of photographers and a camera.  We could have danced in that moment forever.”–Fred and Amanda

“Our wedding was a special day but as we stood there in the woods heads touching, I just knew that the rest of my life with my beautiful wife was beginning. Our special day was filled with so many great moments, but as I look back on this photo of us it stands as a great starting point in the journey of our lives together. Frank and Brent’s Wedding, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Frank & Brent met in New York City 11 years ago–on 44th Street in Hell’s Kitchen to be exact. They struck up a conversation right there on the sidewalk and have been together ever since! After dating, moving in together, working and traveling the world, they decided it was time to make a deeper commitment to each other by getting married. Frank’s family has a beautiful piece of property on the west side of Evansville and it made the perfect setting for an Autumn ceremony. Friends and family from all over made the journey to witness as Frank & Brent shared their vows on that warm October day. The guests cheered and showered them with colorful fall leaves as they came down the aisle. School buses transported the guests to the O’Day Discovery Lodge at Burdette Park, where they were treated to drinks and yummy snacks before dinner began. The Lodge was bedecked in all things fall, with fresh flowers, pennants, apples, pumpkins and gourds as décor. Instead of wedding cake, there were multitudes of delicious homemade pies from Evansville’s own The Pie Pan. After some “pass the mic” speeches, DJ Mark Elpers kept the dancefloor crowded all night with show tunes and lots of Disco, which the guests couldn’t get enough of. That room was chock full of some of the happiest people I think I’d ever seen at a wedding, a testament to how much Frank and Brent are loved. It was truly a joy to be there to record it. Congratulations, Frank & Brent, thank you for choosing me as your photographer.
