Shannon and Harry’s Favorite Wedding Image

“This photo perfectly captures the emotion of our wedding day.  The dramatic clouds in the background symbolize the life we left behind as we stand in a loving embrace in the sunshine to celebrate the beginning of our new shared lives.  The cherry red 1968 Mustang is waiting patiently to whisk us away as our friends and families wish us love and luck.  Jeannie could not have captured a better balance of nature and emotion!”–Shannon and Harry

Tiffany and Luke’s Favorite Wedding Image

“I couldn’t have been happier in this moment. The weather was amazing, the chaos of our wedding was over, and I was with the love of my life! Right after this picture was taken, we left the wedding reception to go start our lives together…and life’s been amazing ever since! Such a great memory!”–Tiffany and Luke

Jill and Aaron’s Favorite Wedding Image

“This photo captures the beauty and craziness of our little family. We knew taking wedding photos with our dogs would be a challenge, but this image made it all worth it!”–Jill and Aaron

Frank and Brent’s Favorite Wedding Image

“We love so many of our wedding photos… that it is difficult to chose one. It would be easier if we were asked to pick 100 favorites. The one with our nieces and nephews is very special. We are so glad that we were able to celebrate with them. They were so well behaved during the wedding and so much fun at the reception. They filled the day with so many fond memories. “–Brent and Frank

Brittney and Nic’s Favorite Wedding Image

“Unity in marriage is one soul, one heart, and one being. We are no longer single souls. As we walked this path together hand-in-hand, it represented how we will never be alone. It was the start of our journey together. Perhaps we will never be as nicely dressed, but we are together. Forever.”–Brittany and Nic

Wedding Vignette: Amanda and Fred’s Favorite Wedding Image

“This picture represents both a sigh of relief and a moment of overwhelming joy. We had pulled it off and were officially married. Vows had been said, cake had been cut, parents had been danced with, and now it was time for us. We had been quietly pulled away from the reception and allowed to finally enjoy each other in our fancy clothes and beautiful venue with no audience other than a couple of photographers and a camera.  We could have danced in that moment forever.”–Fred and Amanda

Wedding Vignette: John and Kennethia’s Favorite Wedding Image

“Our wedding was a special day but as we stood there in the woods heads touching, I just knew that the rest of my life with my beautiful wife was beginning. Our special day was filled with so many great moments, but as I look back on this photo of us it stands as a great starting point in the journey of our lives together. Thanks to Jeannie we were able to capture all of the wonderful and emotional moments of our wedding day.”– John and Kennethia

Frank and Brent’s Wedding, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Frank & Brent met in New York City 11 years ago–on 44th Street in Hell’s Kitchen to be exact. They struck up a conversation right there on the sidewalk and have been together ever since! After dating, moving in together, working and traveling the world, they decided it was time to make a deeper commitment to each other by getting married. Frank’s family has a beautiful piece of property on the west side of Evansville and it made the perfect setting for an Autumn ceremony. Friends and family from all over made the journey to witness as Frank & Brent shared their vows on that warm October day. The guests cheered and showered them with colorful fall leaves as they came down the aisle. School buses transported the guests to the O’Day Discovery Lodge at Burdette Park, where they were treated to drinks and yummy snacks before dinner began. The Lodge was bedecked in all things fall, with fresh flowers, pennants, apples, pumpkins and gourds as décor. Instead of wedding cake, there were multitudes of delicious homemade pies from Evansville’s own The Pie Pan. After some “pass the mic” speeches, DJ Mark Elpers kept the dancefloor crowded all night with show tunes and lots of Disco, which the guests couldn’t get enough of. That room was chock full of some of the happiest people I think I’d ever seen at a wedding, a testament to how much Frank and Brent are loved. It was truly a joy to be there to record it. Congratulations, Frank & Brent, thank you for choosing me as your photographer.

Amanda & Fred’s Wedding Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

When I first talked to Amanda on the phone, she told me that she and Fred are not “wedding people”. “We have no idea what we’re doing. We just want to have a short ceremony and have a big party.” And that is exactly how it went down, but she was mistaken about one thing: they ARE “wedding people”! These two looked amazing and were full of love, joy and fun on their special day. After getting ready at LeMerigot Hotel, they met downstairs on the stylish Blush lounge to have their first look and pose for some quick portraits. We then headed over to Main Street to the Victory Theater. This place is a lovely venue for a wedding and reception, plus, they let us into the auditorium itself for a photo session. The wedding was short and sweet just like they wanted with heartfelt, written vows they shared with each other. The reception afterwards was chock full of adorable thrift store chic décor, delicious desserts, a bottle of wine at every table and family and friends tearing it up on the dance floor. It was truly an incredible night.

Congratulations to you, Mr. and Mrs. Hecht!

Shannon and Harry’s Wedding Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Shannon and Harry are a special couple, you just know it when you meet them. They are so easy to talk to and I was able to enjoy many a conversation with them leading up to and on the day of the wedding. They had gorgeous weather for their big day, despite the threat of rain that never really followed through. It made for a dramatic sky! They exchanged vows at St. John Catholic Church in Newburgh, IN to a packed sanctuary of family and friends.  Directly after the ceremony, they jumped into a red Mustang and took a joy ride! Following that, we took the wedding party to the park across the street for some casual outdoor portraits–it kept trying to rain, but we were having none of it! Ha!

The wedding party then headed to The Holiday Inn, Evansville to meet their guests and enjoy their reception. It was an action packed night starting with Shannon and Harry doing their first dance to “Beast of Burden” by the Rolling Stones–a first for me, I can tell you! Then on to the emotional parent dances, the Rocky Top, the Schnitzelbank song (A German tradition in these parts) and general booty shaking on the dance floor. That room was full of hundreds of happy people and it was a pleasure to be part of it.

Many congratulations to you, Mr. and Mrs. Wainwright!

Brittany and Erick’s New Harmony engagement session Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

It was a HOT day in New Harmony, IN, but that didn’t stop Brittany and Erick from totally rocking their engagement session. We got out the bug spray and ran all over the town taking fun photo after fun photo. These two have love and energy to spare and they made my job easy. a bonus was they both wore Converse shoes with their dressy clothes! When a couple places their personality into their session, everything comes together in a special way. They will be married next June at The Bauerhaus!

Jill and Aaron’s Audubon Park Wedding, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Jill and Aaron became Mr. and Mrs. Royer at the beautiful John James Audubon Park in Henderson, Kentucky.  It was a perfect September day for the ceremony and reception under a huge tent on the lawn of the museum. Everything was decorated impeccably, it was a real feast for the eyes! The couple chose to have a First Look and shared a few heartfelt private words before the big event. Their beloved dogs, Peanut and Dante were on hand for a few shots as well. We also had a few laughs with some casual photos with the wedding party. The ceremony was beautiful as they exchanged vows under a floral arch. Afterwards, the cocktail hour on the museum patio featured hors d’oerves and Jill and Aaron’s very own home brewed beers. Each guest was given a souvenier tasting glass with the couple’s initials. After a delicious bar-b-que dinner, there were toasts and dancing into the night to the sounds of a live band. This wedding really outdid itself, it was stunningly beautiful, romantic, fun and I could tell that all the guests were having a ball!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Royer! Thank you for choosing me to document your most special of days.

Ashley and Chad’s Wedding

It was a gorgeous day in the countryside–well, it rained off and on, but STILL, a great day. We managed to get some wonderful outdoor photos between the showers. Ashley and Chad said their vows at St. Wendel Catholic Church in front of hundreds of family and friends. On the way to the reception, a pit stop was made by the wedding party at the Nisbet Inn in Haubstadt, IN. Cold beer and conversation was in high supply! They then made their way to St. James Madden Hall in Haubstadt to be received by their guests and partake of dinner, ice cream and dancing. I grabbed them for a quick end of the day shoot before I left, where we took some relaxed portraits of the happy couple. Best wishes, Mr. and Mrs. Beuligmann!
