Old Courthouse Wedding, Evansville Indiana Wedding Photographer

Jason and Elizabeth chose the stately and beautiful Old Vanderburgh County Courthouse as the site for their wedding ceremony and reception. Elizabeth wore a stunning lace overlay dress and Toms shoes handwritten with her favorite prose. Her flowers included succulents and eucalyptus–my favorite things to see in a bouquet! The couple exchanged marriage vows in the gorgeous ballroom with numerous family and friends looking on. Afterwards, we took the wedding party outside for some casual photos as well as some romantic photos of the newly married couple. The light and the weather could not have been more lovely. They treated their guests very well at the reception with a taco bar from Chipotle, pizza from Azzip Pizza and several flavors of cupcakes. As wedding favors, they created their own lip balm in 3 different flavors! One very special part of this day was that it was also the 50th wedding anniversary of Elizabeth’s grandparents and great aunt and uncle. They were married in a double ceremony back in 1967. I was sure to get a photo of all of their hands and rings together with the bride and groom. What a wonderful day, full of happy people!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schmittou!  Thank you for choosing me to document your special day.
